Avoriaz has douzens of great eateries, here are some of our favourites.

LA CABANE

La Cabane 1800, perfectly situated in the heart of the resort, is Avoriaz’s must visit restaurant. With its own sushi chef, the menu offers a rich blend of Asian- Franco fusion in addition to a range of local specialities. Live singers, cocktail bar and cosy and chic atmosphere make this one of Avoriaz’s most popular venues. Booking essential.

LA RESERVE

When it comes to fine dining and gourmet, La Réserve tops the bill, both the food and service are high quality, innovative and reliable. It’s rustic, chalet-style decor and calm unhurried atmosphere are the perfect setting for its unique, sophisticated, gastro cuisine. It also has a lovely sunny terrace directly on the piste in front of the restaurant, perfect for lunchtime.

L’HOTEL DES DROMONTS

Hidden within the Dromonts hotel are two worthwhile restaurants. Following a bistro chic concept, harking back to an avant-garde era when the resort was filled with the laughter of lively diners attending the Fantastic Film Festival are the upscale les Enfants Terribles and the more rustic le Festival.

CAFÉ LE FANTASTIQUE

Directly opposite the ice rink, le Fantastique has pride of place on sunny days with tables and chairs outside in the sun for a sunny lunch or inside for late night options. Famous for its burgers, it also offers a selection of salads, poke bowls and sharing platters.

VILLAGE DES CHÈVRES

Situated just off the run down to Ardent is the Village des Chevres or goat village, a small hamlet packed with traditional chalet style restaurants offering cozy warm interiors in mid winter and sunny terraces in Spring. Some of our favourites include la Cremaillère, le Chaudron and cheese Bob et Annie.
